Dark web drug buyer arrested in Fulton County

A Rochester man has been taken into custody after he was accused of buying large amounts of narcotics off the dark web to redistribute them throughout the county.

Tristin Shell, 18, was arrested as part of a multiagency drug investigation.

The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office said in a release Tuesday did not indicate how long Shell had been purchasing said drugs offline. When investigators issued a search warrant on a home in Rochester, they located around 28 grams of methamphetamine, prescription pills, psilocybin mushrooms, and more.

Three others were arrested and charged alongside Shell. Those names and charges are listed below:

  • Possession of methamphetamine.
  • Dealing a controlled substance.
  • Maintaining a common nuisance.
  • Possession of a controlled substance.
  • Possession of marijuana.
  • Possession of paraphernalia.

Lyndon Swanson

  • Maintaining a common nuisance.
